Executive Chef / owner Damon DesRosiers took over The Hideaway in December of 1980 with a vision of creating downtown Middleboro’s best full service reasonable priced restaurant comfortable for everyone. Damon his Family and long time staff believe they have done just that. We offer fresh home-style meals as well as gourmet specials, in a choice of settings. The lower level coffee shop/dinning room area, the pub/lounge style area and the 3 rd. floor dinning/function room with a more refined atmosphere with salad bar and views of Everett square.
Trained at The Culinary Institute of Family business i.e.: The King & Queen Restaurant of Taunton Mass. and Kittys Restaurant of Halifax. Owned by Parents Kitty (Ma) and Alfred DesRosiers, who instilled the value of customer service and quality fresh ingredients cooked to order. (Which sometimes by the way takes a little longer so please be patient if we are busy) We offer an extensive and varied menu including fresh seafood (haddock, scallops, whole clams, shrimp and steamers and little necks in season) Prime rib, sirloin steaks and our marinated steak tips and chicken parmesan, pork chops, burgers, dogs and My parents Famous King & queen pizza recipe, started in the1950”s. Our Chefs make homemade soups, sauces and specials daily using the finest ingredients, and prepare each dish with an infusion of passion and creativity.
